INVENTOR OF FIREFIGHTING TECHNOLOGY

Collaborating with my Firefighting leader and our shared passion for enhancing fire safety for our Navy, we designed a simple, safe, portable penetration device and method to fight compartment fires at sea. To extinguish fires at sea in an environment where immediate help is unavailable.  

We continue to collaborate and practise inventorship through shared technology authorship, aiming to contribute to homegrown research and development to increase commercialisation rates in Australia.

We are two Navy sailors who want to make a profound change to firefighting capabilities and readiness across our ADF and emergency services. Coming from deep warfighting and firefighting experiences, we are motivated to build novel firefighting technology and aim to modernise doctrine to better protect our crews, warships, bolster naval lethality and ultimately save lives.   Introduction to me-innovations Pty Ltd - YouTube 

Teaming in with WORMLAD Australia, I prepared engineering Functional Performance Testing for sponsored New Product Testing at TestSafe Australia Facilities. 

Charged hose testing provided great results for the engineered safety factors, and the spray operation made me proud to see the fluids perform to math-modelled expectations from my published calculations.    

A key member in establishing the FBE CFI in 2017, I contributed to building innovative spaces across Australian Navy bases for Sailors and Defence contractors to explore technology and build their own innovative solutions. As a Sailor facilitator, I presented training on behalf of grassroots innovation, coaching others in Computer Aided Design and Additive Manufacturing.
